Mis-Sold Goods or Services

  • Do you feel you were misled into buying goods or services?

If you've experienced issues with a purchase where the seller didn't meet expectations and you made the transaction through a finance agreement or paid at least £1.00 using a credit card, you may be eligible to pursue a claim for compensation under a “no win, no fee” agreement.

Regularly people are sold products such as kitchens, cars, solar panels and conservatories under a finance agreement. They may be dissatisfied with the product or may have complaints about the way they were sold the product.

It could be that a service was sold which you felt was not as described, such as a timeshare or a training course.

The variety of products and services mis-sold is endless.

You could pursue a claim yourself, however, you may feel more at ease to allow a company such as ours to pursue the claim for you, knowing that if we are unsuccessful in securing an offer of compensation you will not have to pay us a fee. Please note that because demand for our services is high, we are only able to pursue claims where the value you have lost is £5,000 or more.

We have many enquiries about “cold callers”, whereby, they make misleading statements in order to coerce their victims, many of whom are vulnerable, into paying monies for a service that never materialises.

  • What do we need from you in order to assist you in pursuing a claim?

Firstly, we will need a copy of the contract between you and the company that you were buying goods or services from, along with copies of any related paperwork.

Secondly, we will need evidence of proof of payment in the form of credit card payments, along with any related bank transfer, or copies of any credit agreement that the merchant provided to you, including a copy of the most recent annual statement (if there are still monies outstanding).

Finally, we will need a written statement from you indicating why you have been disappointed with the goods or services that you purchased and detailing why you feel the seller either made misrepresentations to you or has breached their contract with you.

Once we have the information that we need from you then we will write to the lender involved within a period of 5 working days (where you have signed and returned a Letter of Authority and Client Agreement), and will then allow the lender a maximum of 8 weeks to respond to us if they haven’t asked for more information. After this time, we will take further action as necessary on your behalf.

If you would like to discuss your case, please call one of our friendly knowledgeable claim’s advisors. If you are ready to start your claim today, please send copies of your documents to info@resolvedclaims.co.uk or upload your documents to us via our website.
